Stock Controller - Garstang

Job description

We wish to recruit a Stock Controller at our Garstang Branch.  This is a pivotal role within the team as your skills will manage the stock levels, which endeavour to make our operations team run efficiently - ensuring we provide an excellent service to our valuable customers.

 

Do you have:

        Experience in managing stock*

        Exceptional organisational skills*

        Good analytical and IT skills with competence in using Excel*

        Effective negotiation skills*

        Good interpersonal and communications skills*

 

Key duties of our stock controller include:

  • The maintenance of inventory accuracy, control and practices around stock management
  • Identify and understand the root cause of stock adjustments
  • Develop daily, weekly and monthly reports to provide information on inventory performance
  • Conduct a rolling review of branch processes, to drive continuous improvement
  • Motivate and manage your work colleagues to achieve a common goal
