Haldane Group Chairman Receives Industry Recognition At Builders Merchant Federation Awards

Ian Haldane, Chairman of leading builders merchant Haldane Group, has been recognised for his lifetime contributions to the industry at the widely acclaimed Builder Merchant Federation Awards.

Ian, was presented with the Honorary Achievement Award, celebrating his commitment to training and development, in addition to his impact to the wider sector.

Speaking of his achievement, Ian said:

“As an organisation, we continually strive for excellence and do our best to embody, on a personal level, best practice to remain at the forefront of the industry.

“To be recognised at such a prestigious and respected event is incredibly meaningful and speaks to the commitment of Haldane Group to facilitate the continued development of individuals, the business and the sector as a whole.”

In addition to Ian’s recognition, Joe Smith, Group Supply Chain Manager at timber importer GE Robinson, which is part of Haldane Group, was recognised as one of the UK’s top young achievers.

The BMF Young Achiever Awards acknowledge those under 35 who have excelled in their role and shown ongoing dedication to the success of their organisation.
